Mr. Dickey has been a principal with BAI since their acquisition of FCW Architects in early 1994. Prior to the merger, he was managing partner and head of design at FCW, which he joined n 1984. As president of BAI, his duties include design, production, project development and business management.

He has a wide range of experience including research facilities, corporate headquarters, commercial, and institutional buildings, with an emphasis on recreational facilities.

In the 1980's Mr. Dickey began developing a specialty in aquatics design after noting that there were very few professionals with expertise in this area. Since then he has completed numerous aquatics projects of all types for local governments, universities, private clubs and commercial clients.

Mr. Spencer is the project manager for most of Bartholomew Associates' commercial/retail projects, including design, production and construction administration services for over 20 shopping centers.

Mr Spencer has extensive experience in all aspects of design, including both shell projects and detailed fit-ups. He is familiar with the detailing and specification of all major building systems and materials.

Mr. Kennel has been an associate with BAI since 1993. His duties at BAI include construction document production, project development, and project management.

Mr. Kennel has worked on a wide range of building types, many of which are characterized by technically demanding programs, including health care, recreational facilities, laboratories, renovation and adaptive reuses.

Erica Robertson recieved her Masters
degree in Architecture from NCSU in 2010. She works at BAI with Mark on design and construction documents including recreation, beauty and alternative health care facilities. Her work includes commercial renovations for Will Spencer.

Erica attends the City of Raleigh BPAC meetings and is involved with YAF with the intent of making Raleigh a more Bicycle and Pedestrian friendly city. Her primany interests in design relate to site, light and air. She is commited to clients and the collaborative effort of seeing their ideas become reality.
